Isla Femme: Characters

In Isla Femme, one of the goals was to provide a character that the player can connect to. In order to do this, we believe that the player should be able to choose some of the physical traits of the character (hair color, skin tone, eye color) as well as the background. The various choices are outlined here, converted directly from the code:

1 - You are a trader, a man of power, wealth, and fame. ( +1 Willpower, +1 Charisma ) 2 - You are a sailor, a worker aboard the ship. ( +1 Strength, +1 Endurance ) 3 - You are a nobleman's son, the life of the party. ( +1 Charisma, +1 Stamina ) 4 - You are a mighty warrior, assigned to guard precious cargo. ( +2 Strength, +2 Endurance, -1 Perception ) 5 - You are a studying wizard, a master of magic and mental strength. ( +3 Willpower, +2 Perception, -1 Strength, -1 Stamina )

The character stats mentioned above are detailed here:

Strength - used for encounters that require a test of strength (i.e. lifting a tree, performing tasks, building camp structures)

Willpower - used to contest women, especially mind control. (i.e. monster girls with hypnotism, resist a beautiful domme, or used in a contest of wills with a domme should the player decide to misbehave. In the latter, failure would indicate that you're too submissive to even consider rebellion!)

Perception - used to notice items in an area when “Search” is chosen. Also may be randomly and secretly assessed in order to allow access to areas or to spot hidden easter eggs/clues.

Stamina - used to determine how well the player performs in a sex scene. Can be combined with willpower to keep from orgasming during edging.

Endurance - used to take pain and violence.

Charisma - used to convince dommes of things. Useful when begging or bribing

Most encounters will offer various paths based upon your stats.

I'm hoping to have a very very very rough and short development build done by the end of May. However, this may be delayed, should I be less than confident in the build. I'll keep everyone updated here.
